Therapy

Therapy the retail sort.

It like a less cheap forever 21 with better service.
Shoes-DV, mainly Steve Madden, Samuel Edelman, and assorted jelly sandals. (tempting, really)

Why I am loving it. Its in Bgame of all places? Its like smack downtown Burlingame where most residents have tennis courts why do you have a store that has faux leather purses, wooden bowls, and fruit wall stickers. Honesty this store has a little bit for everyone. Whoever is the buyer is a schizo sob...man I hope I get to meet her/him one day.

Cheers.

cherry blossom festival

Coordinating a hair cut and color at an Asian hair salon is as difficult as figuring out where you should go on vacation. Advanced planning greatly advised in order to take account for seasonal activity and random holidays, like the Cherry Blossom Festival where all Japanese people choose not to come into work.

snippet of my convo with a co-worker recently
Me to co-worker:" I need to go to Arty to get my bangs trimmed"

Co-worker stares at me like as if I am truly a retard before replying, unsympathetically might I add, "Duh everyone at Arty is on vacation for the Cherry Blossom Festival, closed 2 weeks."

Me: "um ok."

I guess after living in the bay area for 8 some odd years one should not be taken aback that your hair salon is closed to honor flowers. Check-Cherry Blossom Festival=Christmas.

On another note again under the category Cherry Blossom Festival-
While driving home with some friends, AF mentions that a mutual friend of ours had just gotten back from her trip to Japan after seeing, yes, the Cherry Blossoms. Upon hearing this critical bit of news the other passenger in the car excitedly shouts "what, they are in season, I have always wanted to go to Japan just to see them". Again, I did not realize what a big draw these Cherry Blossoms were. Personally I thought they were equivalent to morning glorys-nice but really not necessary.

Last night I got a text " at cherry blossom fest in J town, c u there?" .

tipping point anyone?
